Build Your Profitable Online Business

This article will show you how to install WordPress, create a web page and a post using WordPress step-by-step. It is really easy!

1. Choose your Web Hosting

First of all, you need to decide to choose a good web hosting for your website. We recommend you to choose a web host that offers 1-click WordPress Installation. 2. Install WordPress

We recommend installing WordPress using the 1-click WP installation feature with BlueHost. The following screen capture shows the 1-click install button for WordPress you can use in BlueHost.

3. Upload a WordPress Template

Find a right WordPress theme for your website and just upload it to the wp-content/themes/ folder. Then activate it in the WP admin panel – in Appearance -> Themes.

As a beginner, you can start using a free WordPress theme. If you have a little budget, buying an affordable theme with around $50 may give you better web design and SEO(Search Engine Optimization) advantages. 4. Configure WordPress

When you login to your new WordPress account, the first thing you should do is click on your username (“admin”) on the top right and change your password to something more memorable than the random one WordPress gives you.

5. Create a Static Home Page

After you log into your WordPress Admin, create two WordPress pages. One is called “Home”, the other is called About”.

1) Go to Pages -> Add new. Name the page ‘Home’ and Publish it.
We recommend you to turn off Comments and Pings in the settings at the bottom of this page before publishing it.

2) Go to Settings -> Reading in your WordPress Admin panel.
3) Change the “Front page displays:” settings to “A static page”

6. Make your First Post

1) Go to Posts -> Add new, create your first post.

Using WordPress to build a website is the quickest way to create a new website so far. Just get your web hosting, install WordPress and upload a your preferred WP theme.
